can be booked the day before race day or for race day itself.
Horse racing tickets are handed out with room keys during Check-In,
which is available from 10am each race morning.

Travelling to Musselburgh
Races from The County Hotel
Situated around 3 miles from The County Hotel, Musselburgh
Racecourse is easily accessd by bus and car. There is a free car
parking facility onsite or why not take advantage of our special
transport packages* We can organise a contract taxi there and
back, one way only or, if there is a minimum of 8 in your party,
why not travel in style using the Limosine.
*these
transport options are organised by The County Hotel, but are in
excess of the The County Hotel Horse Racing Break package price.
Musselburgh Links Racecourse
Musselburgh racecourse has one of the best facilities for horse
racing enthusiasts in Scotland. In December 2006, in response
to the racecourse management's commitment to providing a horse
racing experence of style and flair and the major improvements
to the main grandstand, entrance and parade ring, the racecourse was
awarded a prestigious 5-star Visit Scotland Visitor Attraction
award.
Established in 1816, Musselburgh Links replaced
the original "Edinburgh Races" on Leith Sands after complaints that
the racing crown were getting too rowdy! Today, as one of only
2 Scottish courses to offer flat and obstacle races (flat in
summer / jumps in winter) Musselburgh Races continues to enjoy a
huge following of new and established race goers.
